Where is a hopeful future already becoming visible?
In the Butterfly Garden, researchers and professionals explore together where hopeful signals are already emerging in the sector. These include connections that create space between client and contractor, projects and residents, and people and nature.
Building on this, participants examine from multiple perspectives what constitutes the underlying elements of these “butterflies.” If a butterfly represents something new, we give attention to the existing system it emerges from: how that system currently operates, why it no longer functions sufficiently, and what continues to sustain it. Participants then explore what conditions support the emergence of new inspiring practices.
